What changed
translate and weather-forecast now cost $0.002 per call, down from
$0.005. Every alias moves with the canonical endpoint: weather,
weather-api, and current-weather are all weather-forecast under
different names, so they drop to $0.002 too.
$0.002 is not a new price point — exchange-rates already runs at that
tier. Translation and weather lookups are simple, high-frequency calls in an
agent's workflow, and pricing them at the same level as our other
commodity-data endpoints passes the same per-call economics through to
buyers running them at volume.
What this means for callers
Inputs and outputs are unchanged on both endpoints — only the price drops. Nothing to update in existing integrations.
You can verify the live price yourself without paying: send an unpaid
request and read the payment-required response header, which carries the
current maxAmountRequired in atomic USDC.
