Web search and its site-search aliases now check returned URLs against the query's site: restrictions, including cached results. Off-domain results are removed and the response explains when filtering reduced the result set.

product-search filters out discussion and review pages instead of presenting them as purchase links. Results must show a product URL or purchase signal, and an optional retailer restriction also applies to returned URLs. A degraded flag indicates removed candidates; the note field makes clear that availability and prices are not independently verified. Empty results can occur when the search provider returns no qualifying purchase candidates.
