Keep the query stable

news-search fits a recurring research check. Send the same keyword, company, ticker, or market topic with a bounded lookback window, then compare the returned URLs and timestamps with the previous run. New links are the work queue.

The response includes headline URLs, source domains, timestamps, language and country metadata, and sentiment. The route uses GDELT and can fall back to GNews when it is configured.

Use news-search when the agent needs fresh public coverage on a repeat schedule. The endpoint remains a data lookup, not trading advice.
