Each hit includes the title, author, points, comment count, timestamp, URL, and matching text. That gives an agent enough detail to decide whether it needs a fresh startup news search or a narrower HN lookup.

The endpoint already searched this material. Its discovery copy did not use the phrases agents use when looking for it. The handler, inputs, output shape, and price are unchanged.
